The Wayfinders Circle is a network dedicated to unleashing the transformative potential of Indigenous lifeways, inspiring all people to re-imagine development, conservation and the way they relate to each other and to Mother Earth.
The Wayfinders Circle was established to amplify Indigenous leadership that manifests a time-tested understanding of human responsibility to Mother Earth. Wayfinders demonstrate resilience and maintain the cultural and spiritual continuity of Indigenous communities. The Wayfinders Circle will inspire strong courage for transformative actions to protect Mother Earth and the wellbeing of all life.
The Pawanka Fund and Nia Tero, with the guidance from the Council of Spiritual Elders from the International Union of Indigenous Spiritual Practitioners, are the initial conveners of the Wayfinders Circle.
The Pawanka Fund is an Indigenous-led grantmaking effort dedicated to supporting Indigenous Peoples' traditional knowledge, well-being, and self-determined rights.
Nia Tero is non-profit that works in solidarity with Indigenous Peoples who sustain thriving territories and cultures to strengthen guardianship of Earth and all beings. Their vision is to contribute to a world where Indigenous Peoples’ guardianship of thriving homelands and waters is enabled everywhere possible on Earth.
